It’s been a week of ups and downs. We had another production meeting for Ed’s “Fucking Forty” book. So many people have already volunteered to work on the book. It’s amazing that such a talented group wants to see Ed’s work come to fruition.
The week was filled with visits with friends. On Tuesday night, Anne and I talked philosophy until the wee hours of the morning. On Thursday, Steph took me to the Catcade in Chicago. If you want some cheap therapy, go to the Catcade. You can spend time with kittens for $15/hour. It’s worth it.
On Friday morning, I stumbled on an interview that Ed did at SPX last year. I wanted to watch it, but it threw off my entire day. So many photos and videos people have posted were before I met him. I had a buffer between my experience and the image. But he did this interview right in the middle of our relationship, when he was feeling good and we were talking about the future. It gutted me.
I forced myself to head to the studio to work on projects. I finished a Shark Week themed jacket that I started months ago. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.
